Barenaked Ladies to headline pre-Super Bowl concert
The Who might be rocking the Superbowl halftime show this year, but the Barenaked Ladies are getting you ready for it on February 6th.
The band will join O.A.R. and Robert Randolph & the Family Band in a show in Fort Lauderdale, Fla, from 4 PM – 10 PM the night before the big game. The city is teaming up with Live Nation for the performance, to be held at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.
This will be a great warm-up for football fans, who will see Super Bown XLIV on February 7th at Land Shark Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., which is only about 20 miles from Fort Lauderdale Beach.
While everything seems to be set in stone, the Fort Lauderdale City Commission will give a formal vote on the event January 20th.
